Consulting is crucial in the formative stages of a business, in selling or newly acquiring a business, and when a company is faced with a problem that requires immediate attention. Our consulting services provide our clients with direct advice, feedback, instructions, and/or suggestions to a specific area of concern or problem that has been identified by the client in our area of expertise. We will provide our independent point of view and work with you to create a plan of action that identifies and is designed to correct the root problem. As a company, we are not responsible for the implementation of the plan unless we are hired for the project management of the plan that is designed. At the conclusion of our contract with our clients, coaching services are available to guide them on how to maneuver concerns that arise, or we can be kept on retainer, or have a plan that provides a combination of both services.

Consulting Services would include being hired by a client to offer our professional services ranging from: - presenting ideas for feedback - project management - training and development - business development - the purchase or sale of an existing business

A consultation is available to those that are interested in sharing information about themselves, their company, their projects, their goals and visions, and those who are seeking professional resources and solutions. Consultations can be conducted in-person or virtually. If the consultation is conducted in person and outside of our local area the prospective client is responsible for our travel expenses.

The terms of what could be offered are gained through the consultation process. The investment from the consultation could be credited towards consulting services if the client, their company, and The Culinary Management Company choose to work with each other.

Before an initial consultation is scheduled, a Client Business Assessment will be sent that answers important questions that will allow us to know if we are able to possibly provide you with our services. In preparation for the initial consultation, our Client Business Assessment will be shared with you to be completed before the scheduled consultation. The assessment provides us with essential information needed to determine whether we are able to provide you with the services that you need.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

The purpose of the initial consultation is for us: (a) to learn about you, your company, and your particular consulting needs based on the information that is provided; (b) to answer your questions to the best of our ability; (c) to identify your options and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives; (d) to help you determine your course of action, if any; (e) to discuss our fees and terms of representation if a client relationship is to be established after the meeting; and (f) to determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate. Only one (1) initial consultation will be provided to a prospective client.

After the (consultation) meeting, an engagement letter with a report would be prepared of possible solutions and steps that the prospective client could implement in moving forward.

Our team at The Culinary Management Company schedule and dedicate our time and resources to these appointments. We do not visit businesses for casual conversations. Travel (time and distance) is required and any in-person visit to a client is considered a paid appointment. Consultations are not free because our staff is required to be compensated for the work that they do. Consultations are a paid service.
